Laboratory Studies in Zoology

Beginning with an introduction to the microscope and study of the cell, students are guided through an examination of the phyla with emphasis on systems-their similarities and differences. Selected animal types are used for concentrated study.

The study of vertebrate systems includes dissection of both the frog and the fetal pig. Concluding the manual are exercises on inheritance, the evolutionary process, animal behavior, and ecology.
